Round 4 - Report













































The fourth round of Season 2 of the Virtual Touring Car Series took place at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst. The drivers were eager to tackle the challenging circuit and showcase their skills in Race 7 and Race 8 of the season.
In qualifying, Wojciech Swirydowicz displayed his speed and secured pole position with a blistering lap time of 2:17.8. Luis Beilicke and Michael Teusch followed closely in second and third positions, respectively.
Race 7 saw Swirydowicz convert his pole position into a dominant victory. He led the race from start to finish, setting the fastest lap time along the way. Beilicke crossed the line in second place, trailing Swirydowicz by 3.47 seconds. Platon Kupriyanov impressed with a strong performance on his debut, finishing in third place. Michael Teusch completed the top four, with Tobias Kantert progressing from eighth on the grid to finish fifth.
In Race 8, it was David Ward who emerged victorious after starting from the third position on the grid. He drove a brilliant race, overtaking Egan in the final corner on lap two to claim the win. Wojciech Swirydowicz, who had a challenging start from 15th on the grid, fought his way through the field to finish a commendable second. Tomi Paatero secured the final spot on the podium with a strong performance starting from fifth place.
The championship standings after Round 4 sees Wojciech Swirydowicz leading the way with a total of 494 points in the Gold class. Michael Teusch was in second place with 367 points, followed closely by Paul Zanettacci leading the Silver class with 340 points. David Ward and Mikko Kuitunen rounded out the top five.
