Round 2 - Report

The Virtual Touring Car Series continued with Round 2 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with races 3 and 4 providing some thrilling racing action.

Lorenzo Oro set the pace in qualifying with a time of 9:15.655, showcasing his knowledge of the track.

In Race 3, Lorenzo Oro put in a stunning performance, securing victory with a fantastic drive. Kristian Wuermeling finished in second place, followed by James Egan in third. Alfie Nicholls and Mark Peck completed the top five.

Race 4 saw Tobias Kantert emerge victorious with a superb performance, battling his way through the field to take the win. Frank Pals finished in second place, with Jakub Ochmanski completing the podium in third. James Egan and Kristian Wuermeling finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Tobias Kantert also set the fastest lap in Race 4.

Overall, the Virtual Touring Car Series at the Nürburgring Nordschleife provided some thrilling racing action, with some standout performances from the drivers.

After four races, the championship standings have seen some significant changes. Jakub Ochmanski and James Egan are currently tied for the lead with 49 points each, followed closely by David Ward with 47 points. Mark Peck and Lorenzo Oro complete the top five, with 46 and 44 points respectively. Meanwhile, Tobias Kantert's impressive win in Race 4 sees him climb up to sixth place in the standings with 42 points. With four more rounds to go, the competition is heating up and the battle for the championship title is set to intensify in the upcoming events.
