Virtual Touring Car Series Season 3 - Round 5 Race Report: Hungaroring Circuit
Qualifying:
The fifth round of Season 3 of the Virtual Touring Car Series took place at the challenging Hungaroring circuit. Paul Zanettacci showed his prowess by claiming pole position with a blistering lap time of 1:56.6, setting the bar high for the competition. Tom Male and Sergey Glazkov secured the second and third spots on the grid, closely trailing Zanettacci.
Race 9:
As the lights went out for Race 9, Paul Zanettacci defended his pole position with determination. He managed to maintain his lead throughout the race, showcasing his skill and consistency. Tom Male and Sergey Glazkov followed closely, but were unable to challenge Zanettacci's dominance. Despite the intense battles behind, Zanettacci crossed the finish line first, securing a well-deserved victory.
Behind him, Tom Male managed to hold onto second place, while Sergey Glazkov completed the podium in third. James Egan and David Ward fought hard to finish fourth and fifth, respectively, showcasing their determination and driving prowess.
Race 10:
The excitement continued in Race 10, with a reverse grid placing Paul Zanettacci further down the order. However, Zanettacci proved his mettle once again by carving through the field. He showcased his strategic prowess and remarkable overtaking skills, eventually regaining the lead and securing his second victory of the day.
David Buckley showcased an impressive performance, finishing in second place after a determined battle. Mikko Kuitunen also demonstrated his skills, securing a podium finish in third. Lewis Fergie and Benjamin England completed the top five, showcasing their adaptability and racecraft.
